Supernatural Baptism @ Crossover Church went down the Sunday after Easter. We were in our second week of our “Supernatural” Series on the book of Acts and we chopped up Acts 2 where it shared that people believed AND were baptized. That day we had 146 people publicly proclaim their relationship with Christ through water baptism. Two thirds of the people had not even signed up… they spontaneously responded as God moved in their hearts. Please pray for all these people that they will continue to take their next steps in Christ and grow!
International Hip-Hop Artist “Jin” is going to be featured at this year’s Flavor Fest Urban Leadership Conference at Crossover this October! Jin will be sharing his story of incredible transformation. You may remember Jin from winning the Freestyle Friday battles on BET’s 106 & Park, or being the first Chinese-American Rapper signed to a major label (Ruff Riders), or from being in The Fast and Furious Movie. Jin is now using his talent to share the light of Christ through his music, acting and influence in Asia and around the world!
Resurrection Sunday at Crossover was SUPERNATURAL! It was our biggest day of ministry in the history of our church. Lots of prayer and planning went into this huge day and God’s spirit showed up as 300 responded to the gospel!
Roots Fest 2012 was another amazing outreach as we served hundreds of families in our community. Big shout out to the 150+ people from Crossover that served! You guys are REBUILDING THE CITY! Check out the highlight video with the funky old school gospel jam!
Pastor Tommy’s brand new book “Next” steps on your spiritual journey is now available! It’s an incredible resource for new believers trying to figure out what their next steps in Christ are. The book is broken down in you tube chunks that hits some very real issues, give answers and biblical references. It also includes the Gospel of John in the NLT version. Our church will be giving it out in our new prayer room for free to all those that start a new relationship with Christ. We will also be selling it in our hip-hop shop in the lobby and at pastor Tommy’s website - www.urband.org. Buying a book will help us be able to print more and give them away. Pray this new urban resource touches many around the world!
Crossover Church’s 3rd annual Christmas Jam Outreach served over 1,000 people this year! We were joined by Tampa Bay Rays Player Sean Rodriguez and many other organizations as we shared the love of Christ with our community. Huge shout out to the Crossover Church family for your generosity as the giving from our Christmas Offering provided most of the resources for this incredible event. You helped many needy families to have a much better Christmas physically and spiritually!
Our One Year Celebration was EPIC! Several incredible testimonies were shared from people who wrote names on the floor one year ago… and those people were now in church and serving Christ. Pastor Tommy gave a powerful message that he started off talking about the huge baptism that was going to happen at the end of the service. He shared how many people were going to be a part of it and they didn’t even know it yet. It was a genuine move of God as 113 people got baptized and publicly proclaimed their relationship with Christ! Check out the video for what went down!

Several of the organizers have been to Crossover and to Flavor Fest. It’s incredible to see how God is taking this movement global!
